12. Posterior Piece of the Mold

A three-piece silicone mold of the wax prototype positioner was made using silicone rubber. This mold was a perfect reverse copy of the prototype. The dental stone cast served as the first piece of the mold. The second piece of the mold was posterior to the helix. This posterior piece of the mold was trimmed and registration marks cut in the lateral surface.
