9. Prototype Ear Sculpture

An ear sculpture was created from wax using the shape of the contralateral ear. Using the baseplate as a foundation, the artist then created an aesthetically pleasing wax sculpture of an ear to fit the patients defect site and resemble the patient’s existing contralateral normal ear.
