1. Introduction

The auricular prosthesis positioner shown in this section guided placement of osseointegrated implants for retention of a bone-anchored auricular prosthesis. The patient was born with left sided microtia and underwent costal cartilage framework reconstruction with multiple revisions. Over time the cartilage framework contracted and deformed. The patient requested removal of the previous cartilage framework and placement of osseointegrated implants for retention of an auricular prosthesis.
