Description:
This illustration shows the intraoperative use of a three-dimensional appliance, known as the microtia surgical positioner, to more accurately position the autogenous rib cartilage graft during microtia reconstruction. The surgeon marks the proper position of the reconstructed auricle using the microtia surgical positioner’s helix and helical port.
